What was one of your first/most memorable jobs growing up?
My first job was shredding paper at the accounting firm where my mom works. During summers while I was in college, I worked as a summer help at Mead Paper. I had various jobs there but the most unique job I had would be fire hose inspector.

Who has been an influential person in your life and why?
My Grandma, Evelyn Jean Chaney, has been the most influential person in my life. She was an amazing caregiver to her family. She was one of the most loving, kind, hard-working people that I have ever met.

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
I loved Honolulu and Waikiki, Hawaii. It was so beautiful. I went with my mom and grandparents. My grandpa became sick the following year, so I am so thankful for the time that I was able to spend with him on that trip. I traveled to Boston last summer and loved touring the city and learning about its history.

What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
Diet Mountain Dew and Pizza. I know that’s two but I can’t live without either.

Tell us something that most people don’t know about you.
I collect 4 leaf clovers. I haven’t found any for a while but I have found quite a few in my lifetime.

What is one of your favorite things about working at Pioneer Center?
I love spending time with the individuals served by the Pioneer Center, their family and caregivers. There have been times when I have been having a rough day and decided to stop by one of the Day Programs. Seeing and talking with individuals there has always brightened my day and reminded me of why I do what I do.
