Rock Your Socks for Down Syndrome Awareness Day

21marAll DayRock Your Socks for Down Syndrome Awareness DayOn March 21st, we celebrate our differences and raise awareness about Down Syndrome by wearing our brightest, loudest, mismatched socks. Socks were chosen because the chromosomes actually look like mismatched socks! Why is World Down Syndrome Day held on March 21st? Because the chromosome 21, and an extra third copy = the 21st day of 3rd month of the year! We want to see your socks, Ross County! Send your photos to Lacey Derexson at lderexson@rossdd.org and we will share on our Facebook page!
