Camp Explore is a one week summer camp for students with medical and behavioral disabilities that would prevent them from participating in other camps. Students will participate in a themed curriculum, crafts, outdoor play and sensory time. Snack will be served daily. This camp is open to any child with a disability in Ross County ages 5-22.

NOTE: There are multiple camps scheduled during this time period including Camp Cattail, which is not hosted by the Pioneer Center. Please only register your child for the camp they will be attending.

Location: Pioneer School

Dates: June 2nd - June 6th, 2025

9 AM – 12 PM

Parent/Guardian must provide transportation to and from camp.

Spaces are limited. Families will be notified of enrollment acceptance within 14 days of the registration window closing via the email provided and regular mail.

If your child uses special cups, pull-ups, diapers, etc., you should send those with your child each day. If your child needs emergency medications such as seizure rescue medications, Epi Pens, etc., please send those with your child daily.

Registration for Camp Explore 2025 will open on April 1st.
